John D'Attoma

John D’Attoma joined Exeter Business School in September 2017 as a Postdoctoral Research Associate, after spending three years at the European University Institute as a Research Fellow. His research lies in the field of comparative political economy and employs a variety of methodological techniques, both quantitative and qualitative (survey, survey experiments, lab experiments, comparative historical analysis), to investigate the varied relationship between citizens and their states. Most recently, he has focused on taxation and tax behavior in Europe and America. My teaching specializations are comparative politics, international relations, and political economy, with an additional expertise in American politics and government.
