Inaugural Workshop

Monday 28th & Tuesday 29th January 2013

This two-day workshop launches the ESRC/HMRC/HMT Tax Administration Research Centre. The presentations at the workshop will reflect all aspects of the Centre’s work so will cover a wide range of topics in tax administration. The keynote lecture will be delivered by Mick Keen (IMF).

This event will take place at the University of Exeter Business School at the Streatham Campus.

Event details

The workshop will run for 2 full days, commencing at 10.00 on Monday 28th and finishing at 17.00 on Tuesday 29th, together with (weather-permitting) a hiking trip on Sunday 27th January. If you wish to hike you will need boots and warm, waterproof clothing.  The plan for the hike is to leave the hotel at 13.30 on 27th January and head to Dartmoor (transport will be arranged) for a 2 hour walk, and possibly a cream tea, returning to Exeter at around 17.30.

Accommodation

Accommodation for participants will be provided at Jurys Inn, Exeter. UK/EU participants will be provided with accommodation for two nights (either 27/28 or 28/29). Accommodation for three nights (27/28/29) will be provided for participants from outside the EU. Please confirm your requirements when you have made your travel plans.

Programme

Monday 28th January - 10.00-18.30

Tuesday 29th January - 09.00-17.00

If you have not already done so, please send your paper through to us by Friday 18th January at the latest.  Copies of all the papers will be provided at the workshop.
